I bend so I don’t break
My yoga is never just a physical practice, but mental and energetic
With everything that life throws at us, the constant of yoga helps us through.
Noticing the changes in your flexibility or restriction in joints, can be a direct reflection of your mind focusing on a challenging situation.
My energy may not feel strong enough to take on a class, but as I connect with my breath and body, the renewed vitality flows again as the answer to my awareness of self.
Even at breaking point, the yoga can be simply showing up for yourself, encouraging your mind, your body to bend to adjust to life and another day.
The practice saves me from breaking, stretching my life back into place.
Yoga may not be your thing, but we all have a self practice that can help us.
