Reflections from the Heart
Find Each Other Again
There was a time when we became so devoted to holding space for others, that somewhere within all the giving,
we stopped truly meeting each other.
Not through lack of love.
But through exhaustion. Responsibility. Service.
The constant pouring outward into life, people, and purpose.
We were still together. Still caring. Still walking beside one another.
Yet something quieter and deeper had slowly faded under the surface.
And perhaps this happens more often than many realise.
Two people become so busy surviving, building, helping, and carrying, that they slowly forget to tend the sacred space between them.
Then one day, through stillness, through honesty,
through simply sitting together again without rushing,
something opened.
We remembered each other.
Not as roles.
Not as responsibilities.
But as two souls who had once deeply met.
And in the slowing down of life,
in the pausing of all we had been carrying,
we found time to tend the garden of our hearts.
Love found space to breathe again.
Not the young love of longing,
but something steadier now.
More conscious.
More present.
A love shaped by choosing each other again after seeing how easily connection can fade when it is not nourished.
Now there are moments we simply say,
“I am here for you darling, no matter what.”
These simple words hold more depth now than anything else.
Because real love is not only found in passion.
Sometimes it is found in the quiet safety of knowing two hearts no longer need to search the world for fulfilment,
they have finally come home within themselves and within each other.
There is a peace in that kind of love.
A softness.
A contentment that asks for nothing from the outside world, because the soul already feels held.
