Meet Dr Beth Scutt!!

Beth is our new Chiropractor and she’s starting at The Chiro Crew, Kadina tomorrow!

And yes, it means we’ll be open more often again! 🥳 A much awaited wish granted for many of you!

Beth will be here every Monday & Wednesday afternoon, with the aim to also open on a Friday in the near future.

So, who IS Beth??

Beth loves seeing the impact chiropractic has on people’s lives. Through her extensive travel (from door knocking in Canada to adjusting villages in Cambodia) she has gained a deep appreciation for a holistic outlook on health and is passionate about helping people thrive in their everyday lives. She has returned to SA, having most recently practiced on the beautiful northern NSW coast - we think the Copper Coast & Yorkes beaches will have her heart in no time!

Outside of the practice, Beth likes to spend her time:

🐕 Playing with (and sometimes chasing) her miniature groodle Ramona

🔢 Solving sudoku puzzles (recently moved onto medium difficulty)

🍴 Cooking and eating delicious food (ask her for her chocolate raspberry cake recipe)

💪 Hitting PBs in the gym

Beth cannot wait to meet you in practice!

Morning everyone! We have some bittersweet info to share with you…

Kate has made the difficult decision to leave Kadina and move back to Tasmania. She has been letting most of you know in person at your appointments for the past couple of weeks - but we’re sorry if this is the first you’re hearing of it.

Kate has loved her time adjusting at The Chiro Crew, Kadina and has made some great friends through the practice, basketball and pickleball in Kadina. She thought she’d be around for a while yet, but her family is calling and she’s going home to better support them as a Chiropractor, aunt, sister, daughter and friend.

One of Kate’s nephews is having some challenges with his nervous system health (who you’ve likely seen on Kate’s Insta feed because he’s one of her favourite humans in the world!!). When she went home over Christmas and spent time adjusting him regularly and talking with her family about their journey she saw how she could be a big support for them. Some things changed, We aren’t allowed to put testimonials up, so we can’t say whether or not these changes were related to Chiropractic, but it’s been enough of a pull for Kate to make the decision to be closer to him and the rest of her family.

We’re going to miss Kate’s energy, laid back nature & her ability to connect with anyone! But we know that what makes her part of who she is, is her committment to the people she loves. Tasmania is lucky to have her back.

So, what now?
What’s next for The Chiro Crew, Kadina??

As there are a few weird weeks coming up with public holidays, Patrick will fill in until we have another Chiropractor starting. Here’s the timeline…

Dr Kate Mainwaring finishes Friday 11th April (open every Mon, Wed, Fri until then).

Dr Patrick Sim is here Monday 14th, Wednesday 16th & Wednesday 23rd April.

Dr Adelle Semmler starts on Monday 28th April.

Adelle is one of the Chiropractors at The Chiro Crew in Adelaide, and will be coming up on Monday’s to adjust you until we can find someone more permanent.

This does mean that we are no longer open on Wednesday’s and Friday’s for a little while. But we hope to change that sooner rather than later!

Is this not the nicest ceiling in the state to look at whilst getting adjusted? Obviously without bias, we think so 😁

In previous practices, we used to stick things on the ceiling for kids to look at while they were on the table. Often adults got some joy out of a Magic Eye or Where’s Wally poster too!

Now we have a new fun game: if you can spot Wally whilst appreciating this ceiling, your next adjustment’s on us 🤪

We caught Kate candidly celebrating her trip to Spain this week 🙊 Pure joy!

She left on Friday night for a seminar plus a few extra days to make the most of the Spain summer! I’m certain that she’s warmer than us right now…

This serves as a reminder that she’s away, and our normal shifts are closed until Wednesday 17th.

Therefore, Patrick will be here to do a fill-in shift this Thursday 11th (3-6pm) 🙌 Let us know if you want an appointment!

Good news!

We used to have a 4-6 week waiting list for new people (first visits) to book in… and it’s now gone!!!! We have NEVER wanted to be a waiting list practice - we want to be available to adjust people when they want to be adjusted!

We are now open extra hours, we’ve seen everyone who was waiting to get in, and we’re super excited to keep offering appointments!

We’re here Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Friday’s. The next few First Visit spots we have available are:
Fri 5th 9am
Mon 8th 3pm
Wed 10th 4pm

Tag your friends who could do with a Chiro visit!

(And we now have a lot more regular visits available too, rather than it being tight to fit in on a Monday arvo! Thank you so much for your patience with us finding a permanent Chiro 🥰)

Hi everyone! A reminder that next Monday we have a new Chiropractor gracing our adjusting space - Dr Kate Mainwaring.

2 things for you to know:

1️⃣ We will now be open more often! Our new hours as of 18th March are:
Mondays: 3-6pm
Wednesdays: 3-6pm
Fridays: 7:30-10:30am

2️⃣ Kate will be holding a ‘meet the Chiro’ evening on Monday 25th March from 6:15-7pm. If you’d like to meet her properly before booking in or just have a general chat/get to know her/poach her as your kids basketball coach, come along! It’s informal but there will be cake 🎂 … turn up at 6:15 and she’ll be there (note: this is not an appointment time to get adjusted - there’s always at least one person who asks! 😆).

2 more weeks until Christmas 🤯

Just a little update on hours so you can sort your appointments out for the festive season…

We’re open today and next Monday (18th).
We’ll be closed for the following 2 weeks (25th Dec & 1st Jan).
Then we’ll be back to normal from Monday 8th Jan.
