headspace Kalgoorlie headspace is part of the National Youth Mental Health Foundation. We help young people who are going through a tough time

Bullying can have a lasting impact and it’s not always easy for young people to talk about it. By creating a safe space and listening without judgement, we can help young people feel heard, supported, and empowered.

Here are a few ways to start the conversation:

What an amazing night for the young people in the Goldfields who attended the 2025 Orica BHP Goldfields NAIDOC Youth Ball on Friday night at Kalgoorlie Racecourse.

Looking 100% deadly, preened to perfection and dressed to impress in their finest, Kalgoorlie’s young people and “Next Generation” looked incredible, dancing the night away and celebrating this year’s NAIDOC theme of Strength, Vision & Legacy.

The Youth NAIDOC Ball is NEXT WEEK and we need your help to celebrate the incredible young people in our community - aged 12 to 17 - who are walking strong, leading with pride, and lifting others up.

These are the awards we’re calling for:

🌟 Karnpi Minarli – Solid Guy Award
For a young Aboriginal man (12–17) who shows strength, pride in culture, kindness, and integrity. Someone others look up to.

🌟 Karnpi Kunka – Solid Lady Award
For a young Aboriginal woman (12–17) who leads with heart, confidence, cultural pride, and is a role model in her community.

🌟 Karnpi Walalku – Solid Leader Award
For a young Aboriginal man (12–17) making a difference leading in sport, culture, school, or community. Someone who steps up for others.
