🧡 16 Days in WA: Play Your Part

The campaign runs from 25 November to 10 December, beginning on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. It’s a time to raise awareness of gendered violence and stand together for change.

This year’s theme, Stopping Family and Domestic Violence: Play your part, reminds us that everyone has a role in challenging disrespect and supporting safer communities.

Getting involved can be simple— wear orange, join local events, have conversations that promote respect, or take small actions that help create a safer environment for all.

💚 World Kindness Day 💚
Today we celebrate the tiny acts of care that change everything.

✨ Affirmation of the Day:
“I choose kindness — for myself, for others, and for the community I’m part of.”

At headspace Kalgoorlie, we believe kindness is powerful. It’s grounding. It’s brave. And it’s something everyone deserves to receive and to feel within themselves.

Let today be your reminder that kindness isn’t weakness — it’s strength with a heartbeat.
Spread it. Hold it. Be it.

Kindness looks good on you & you matter here. Always 💚

We recently received a negative and inappropriate comment on our page targeting gender-diverse young people. That behaviour is absolutely not welcome here.

The comment has been removed and the individual has been blocked. We want to sincerely apologise to our wonderful young people and our community — you deserve safety, respect, and inclusion every single time you show up here.

We’ll continue to monitor our page closely to make sure this space stays safe, supportive, and free from discrimination.

Always here for you 💚
