Today marks the Winter solstice for the Southern Hemisphere, the longest night of the year for us.
Winter is a time of going within,rest, relaxation and reflection.
A season to give thanks for what we have,a time to let go of what is not needed and release whatever holds us back and wears us down.
It is ok to rest and take time to spend quiet time with loved ones or by yourself.
Take some time for Winter solstice self care rituals, take a cleansing candle lit bath or shower.
Use essential oils and brew a healing herb tea. Light candles say your blessings or prayers. Meditate.
Or do nothing and just quieten your soul and simply find peace within.
After an extremely busy week I have been lucky enough to have spent an incredible week out on country with amazing people.
I am taking my own advice today and having a day of rest, relaxation and reflection and doing all of the above and giving thanks for all I have in my life.
Our fire is on, candles are lit, oils are diffusing
