Collins Street Surgery Goldfields GP Clinic Collins Street Surgery is a well established practice in the Goldfields that provides excellence in Medical Services.

Opened 19 years ago by Dr Phil Reid, the practice became a central teaching practice for upcoming doctors. The practice was closed in January 2013. In October 2013 the building was purchased by Dr April Armstrong whose father and grandparents were from the Goldfields. The new business was founded on a vision of providing GP Speciality services to the Goldfields - starting with Obstetrics & Gynaeco

logy, and moving into OH&S, Travel Medicine, Surgery and Skin and Paediatrics/Child Health. The practices focuses on preventative health care, affordable quality consultations, utilisation of local services but with significant contacts in the Perth area for private patients and specialities not available in the Goldfields. The building has been recently renovated with over $150'000 worth up upgrades in equipment and services, offering a family/child friendly environment , supportive staff, comfortable waiting area and outdoor play area. We’re excited to welcome Dr. Bilal Ahmed (M.B.B.S) to Collins Street Surgery! 🩺💙

Dr. Ahmed brings over 10 years of clinical experience, including 3.5 years of practice in Australia and 4 years of specialised work in Cardiology in Pakistan.

He has also worked in the Emergency Department at Kalgoorlie Hospital, giving him valuable experience in managing a wide range of acute and complex medical conditions.

Fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi, Dr. Ahmed is dedicated to providing inclusive, culturally sensitive healthcare to our diverse community.

His clinical interests include:
