We recently had the pleasure of visiting Stockland Aura’s 10th birthday celebration 🎉

From exploring the unique birthdayland shipping containers to enjoying a relaxed dine-in lunch, we had a blast! The entire experience from the fun activities to the delicious food and great coffee made for a memorable day ☕✨

Please note: unfortunately, the shipping containers are not currently accessible for mobility aids or wheelchairs.

While we’re staying cosy and enjoying a variety of indoor community activities, we kindly remind our upcoming guests to pack a mix of warm layers and wet-weather clothing to ensure a comfortable stay.

From our community garden and hives, guests can take home a share of RRS’s harvest 🥑

Currently harvesting honey, bananas, dragon fruit, collecting fresh eggs and growing plenty of seasonal fruit & veggies 🌱

We’re excited to share our newly renovated, fully accessible bathroom at Respite Relief Solutions.

Thoughtfully designed with comfort, safety and independence at the forefront, every detail has been carefully considered to support the people we support.

🛁 Key features include:

• Underfloor heating
• Permanent grab rails in both the shower and toilet areas
• Accessible toilet replacement for improved safety and ease of use
• Wheelchair-accessible basin replacement
• Non-slip tiles for added safety
• Flat, open flooring to support mobility and easy transfers
• Generous space to accommodate assistive technology, including:
– Aqua bath (shower trolley)
– Shower commodes
– Splashy bath seat
– Electronic bath seat
• Digital temperature displays on shower and bath tapware for added safety
• Extendable bath hose for ease
• Relocated bath taps to improve access and promote independence

As the school holidays come to an end, today marks the first day back at school 🎒

We’re wishing all students especially those starting school for the very first time a positive and smooth transition into new routines, faces, and experiences.

At RRS, we enjoyed a fully booked December/January school holiday respite program filled with fun, connection, and growth.

Plus… we’ve been busy behind the scenes with a new bathroom renovation!
