To everyone who joined me — thank you. Your openness, your laughter, your quiet moments of stillness… they made the day what it was. I’m always moved by how quickly a group of strangers can feel like a circle of friends when we share breath and presence together.

✨ What a day to breathe, move, and connect! 🌿

Our Let It Breathe – Rural Women’s Wellness Day at Barangaroo Boutique Wines was such a heart-filling celebration of Rural Women’s Day. We stretched and softened among the vines, listened deeply to nature with Dr Kathleen Bagot, and shared laughter, creativity, and stories under the Wimmera sun.

It was a reminder of how powerful it feels when women come together — to pause, breathe, and simply be. 💚

Huge thanks to everyone who joined us, and to Wimmera CMA, Landcare, and Barangaroo Wines for helping make this day possible through the Look Over the Farm Gate initiative.

Here’s to more days that let us breathe, connect, and thrive — together. 🌾

Rural women across our region are invited to a restorative day of connection, nature, and wellbeing. ✨

The day begins with a gentle outdoor yoga session led by Michelle Hubble of Fulham Yoga and Pilates, inviting you to unwind through mindful movement and breath.
Following a shared grazing lunch, Dr Kathleen Bagot — environmental psychologist and founder of Nothing Like Nature — will guide us through Forest Therapy and nature journaling, exploring how slowing down and engaging with the natural world can restore balance, creativity, and joy.

This event, hosted by West Wimmera Shire Council, Wimmera CMA, and Landcare, honours Rural Women’s Day by celebrating the resilience and wisdom of women in farming communities.

✨ Meet Jess ✨
Jess is a gifted Music and English teacher, classically trained flutist, multi-instrumentalist, and soulful jazz singer. She has shared her music with orchestras and big bands across Australia and overseas, weaving rich soundscapes that move both heart and spirit.

Alongside her performing career, Jess has trained in sound healing—completing Level One Foundations of Integral Sound Healing (Multi-instrument) and now finalising her Level Two Professional Integral Sound Bath Certification with the Sound Healing Academy.

Through the power of voice, instruments, and frequency-based techniques, Jess creates experiences that nurture emotional, mental, and physical well-being. Drawing on both ancient traditions and modern research, she offers sound as a pathway to release, restore, and renew.

At our Yoga & Sound Healing Retreat, Jess invites you not just to listen to music, but to truly feel and heal through it. 🌿🎶
