International Women’s Day

To the brave, courages and tenacious women who speak up, speak out and demand better- thank you. Thank you for being a voice for many, even when it is often at a tremendous personal cost to your self.

To the countless incredible, amazing, inspiring, strong, kind, generous, brave, determined women I am surrounded by: I salute each and every one of you. I am so grateful to have each and everyone of you in my life. .
To my darling daughter who is growing into one of the strongest and kindest young ladies I will ever know....Don't ever be underestimated, undervalued or under appreciated. Being a women is not a weakness, it's the ultimate strength. Own it, love it, use it.
Look out world! You've got this! .
And to my sons, may you know, love and respect the women in your life. I hope your life will be filled with strong, fierce women, your life will be richer for it. Stand alongside them, demanding equality, and be a voice for those that don't have one. Not just because they 'could be your mother or sister', but because they are human beings that deserve to be treated with respect and kindness as equals.

Looking at my three little ones, their strong sense of community, empathy, and kindness. Their inability to accept injustice or inequality at such a young age.....I know our future is in good hands, but for the now… we need to continue to demand better from our leaders. Do more, so we can all be more.

Christmas 2021

Better late than never. 2021 has been a bit of a wild ride for small business, with much adversity and delays to overcome and pivot from.

So we apologise for our delayed release… but we are so happy they’re here, ready to ship and be enjoyed.

Ricky the Reindeer: Plum Pudding scented playdough

Ricky is a caring, cheerful and excitable sole, who loves the magic of Christmas. Whilst still in the junior ranks at the North Pole, Ricky is hopeful to one day, get a turn at helping Santa circumnavigate the world on Christmas Eve.
In the meantime, Ricky loves helping out around the North Pole, assisting the elves and Mrs. Claus at any opportunity. Smelling of sweet plum pudding, Ricky’s favourite food, this special reindeer is a delight in scent and soul.

Joy: Mrs. Claus

The unsung hero of Christmas, Joy is a big warm hug in a jar. Joy loves Christmas, like…. really loves Christmas. Joy loves baking, caring for the reindeer, studying languages as a linguistics specialist (helping Santa communicate with all the children of the world) and has a masters in computer science, keeping Santa and the elves up to date with all the latest toy technology. The humble, diligent, shy, intelligent, caring, calm, sensible, organised and warm matriarch of Christmas, is just as you’d expect her to be… sweet, calming and full of joy with hints of cinnamon, vanilla, rosemary with a burst of citrus and florals. Dark minty green playdough, with delightful red rose petals and jasmine.

Santa- with his natural scent of candy cane, (because it is his favourite food), his jolly nature and squishy centre is a beautiful colourful candy cane blend of red and white playdough, ready for fun. Happy World Playdough Day! .

A day to celebrate this awesome medium that is all inclusive (just the way the world should be). Suitable for all ages and all abilities. It encourages fine motor skill development, problem solving, creativity and imagination all whilst being a boat load of fun.

So whether you are a playdoh fan, you make your own, or you love our all natural playdough, (thanks! Your are a dead set legend!) make sure you make some time to sit and play this week! It is so good for the sole… And we could all do with a little extra heart and soul nurturing right now 😉 xoxo

R U Ok?

No, really, are you?

It's ok if you're not. Everyone struggles sometimes. And in this current climate of lockdowns, cancelled plans, added pressures, financial hardship and isolation, heck… it’s a bloody lot!

But you are not alone, even if you feel like you are. There are plenty of people that are here to help, I promise, just reach out, someone will take your hand.

If you are not ok- please ask for help. And if you think someone is struggling, please ask, R U Ok? Reach out, send a text, FaceTime, make contact, start a conversation… it can mean all the difference.

It’s important to ask people if they are ok, because when someone is struggling they can’t always find the strength to ask for help. So don’t wait to be invited, just jump in and lighten the load, with a kind word, a message of love, a handmade meal, or whatever they need- and listen.

You are special, important and loved. You don't have to go it alone. Just please reach out. OK.

What an incredibly inspiring human and role model. With a long list of professional achievements, that continues to grow: most could only dream of, she remains humble, is kind, generous and is the perfect example of a good sport.

As the National Indigenous Tennis Ambassador, she uses her profile to promote more indigenous participation in the sport of tennis.

Ash Barty, has also been a passionate campaigner for the campaign, encouraging girls to continue playing sport.

“I think the campaign is beautiful because it encourages girls from across Australia to get involved, choose their own path and not listen to societal pressures. I was told a few times along the way that I was too short to make it,” Hear that girls!? Don’t let others opinions, alter your path… use it to inspire your drive.

Last week our good friends .life requested a Ted Lasso appreciation Playdough creation.

This week they are celebrating the wonderfully warm and optimistic character that is full of heart, and encouraging one liners with a week of Ted Lasso appreciation.

At the time- I had to do a google search. But as fate would have it, last weekend I was confined to bed for rest for 48 hours... Thanks to Ted lasso- 5 straight hours of those were very well spent.
