An exciting new project for OBS. Supplying a full well-control equipment package to a drilling rig heading to Papua New Guinea.

Our customer won a new contract in PNG and came to us for the critical well-control package BOP's, accumulator unit and all associated pressure control. Where reliability, compliance and knowledge are absolutely essential.

When equipment is heading somewhere remote like PNG, there's no room for guesswork. Everything is thoroughly checked, tested, documented and packed with the end location in mind.

Projects like this show OBS is continuing to grow beyond local equipment supply, building a reputation for supporting specialised well control requirements in demanding locations.

It's a good sign of where the business is heading, and the confidence our customers are placing in us.

Before joining OBS, Oscar built his career across South America and Australia with over a decade in oil and gas. But his path started a long way from the rig site as a semi-professional footballer in Mexico.
From there, he backed himself in business, studied in the United States, and eventually found his way into the energy sector. The rest is history.
