✨ Some heartfelt reflections from our Educators’ Wellbeing Workshop at Corinda Kindy this week:
🌿 “It was so nice to spend time together as a team in a relaxed space and connect with each other. Often, we come to do the work and then say goodbye to return to our families, so times like this are very special. My takeaway is to have more quiet time with my thoughts, away from distractions.”
🌿 “Your session gave me space to deeply reflect on myself. I need to prioritise time to exercise first—not after the laundry or the housework is done—even if it’s just 10 to 15 minutes, because it makes me feel good.”
🌿 “The workshop motivated me to get back to my Zumba and yoga classes and take better care of myself.”
🌿 “It was a very, very good opportunity for self-reflection. It’s very easy in my job to get bogged down in the details and just focus on getting things done… the session reminded me to focus on what really matters.”
💫 Together, we had so much FUN while deepening our wellbeing knowledge through a mind–body approach:
✨ We began with the Emotional Seasons™, shifting from the old idea of “good vs bad” emotions to embracing a new WAY OF BEING: “it’s OK to feel this way.”
✨ We explored each educator’s goals for the next 3 months, creating a clear personal compass for growth.
✨ We reviewed the Energetic Cups—reflecting on how we use our physical, sensory, emotional, mental, and social energy each day. From here, educators recognised how precious their energy is and that they have the power to choose where to pour it.
✨ We practiced an embodied reset process, calming the nervous system and strengthening our cups from the inside out.
My heart is filled with gratitude for working with this team 💛 I feel deeply honoured to create safe spaces for educators to reconnect with themselves, their profession, and with one another.
When educators are nourished and recharged, the ripple effects are felt by children, families, and the whole community. 🌸
