Growing up in Brisbane and it's surrounds, Mandah was exposed to many different cultures and their accompanying foods through the steady stream of diverse visitors who passed through her family home. By her teens she had had the opportunity to travel to different countries and experience different types of food and food preparation, which led to her early decision to become vegetarian. Add to this
the fact that her severe childhood asthma responded positively to dietary modifications, and it was a small step for her to become interested in the connection between food, nutrition and health. Her journey of discovery led her to formal studies in nutrition, which have only deepened her conviction that individuals can access considerable power over their own health and wellbeing through the choices that they make around food and lifestyle. Now she is motivated by a strong desire to inform others so that they can be empowered to exercise greater influence over their own bodies. Always a person of passion and creativity, who is not afraid to ask the hard questions, Mandah brings those same qualities to her desire to educate anyone who wants to learn about the benefits of getting back to basics and what is natural, as a springboard to better health. We strongly believe that financial constraints shouldn't limit anyone's ability to achieve wellness and that sound nutritional guidance can help provide alleviation from a wide variety of physical complaints.
