Trying something new in the kitchen tonight… and it paid off 🙌

Souvlaki lamb (I subbed it for beef), couscous salad and soft flour tortillas - such a simple but flavour-packed combo.

The kids were very skeptical at first, so I let them serve themselves… and surprise, surprise - every plate was cleared 😅

Did you know your Thermomix® can be a slow cooker too? 😍
Both the TM6 & TM7 can slow cook with the blade cover – and it’s a total game changer.

We slow-cooked this pork until it was fall-apart tender, then shredded it in seconds. Add a crunchy slaw with the cutter + fresh rolls and you’ve got pulled pork burgers that are next-level good 😍

Even better? They were easy to pack up and deliver straight to the paddock for harvest meals 🚜

How good is it when your “leftovers” look like THIS 🤤
Leftover sticky sesame chicken from sushi night turned into fluffy bao buns… and honestly, they were next-level.

So easy to make and steam in the Thermomix® — the dough needs a little proving time, but hardly any hands-on work (my kind of cooking 🙌).

The kids smashed them and have already added them to their “must-have again” list 😂

Birthdays don’t get lost just because Christmas is nearby 🎄🎂
We don’t count the sleeps to Christmas in this house… we count them to her birthday.
Each year the kids get choose their birthday dinner and to design their dream cake - this year’s brief: “a confetti piñata cake in my favourite colours.”
I think I did alright 💖✨

Cooking with kids… no matter how careful they promise to be, the mess always finds a way 🤪
But honestly, clean-up is a breeze with the new TM7.
Five preset cleaning settings = bowl done.
Quick wipe of the base & screen = sparkling again.
And best of all… no more fiddly locking arms to scrub (you know EXACTLY what I mean 😉).

When you are a December baby but don’t want to miss having cakes at school with your friends! Today was our big girls “pretend” school birthday! She got all the treats and celebrations and was made to feel really special 🥰

Her brief for the cupcakes was “pink & purple tie die with some stars” - I think I did ok on this one haha.

When you are madly thinking about Christmas - don’t forget all the special birthdays that fall in December too! And the mums working hard to make it all happen! 🤪
