Lynne’s journey into natural therapies began many years ago when she had her first Reiki treatment. As a result of the deep feeling of relaxation from the treatment, she walked away vowing she would learn this incredible healing system. Through trial and error she stumbled upon the International House of Reiki and started her journey, being guided by her Master Teachers; Bronwen & Frans Stiene. L

ynne is a Level III, Shinpiden Master/Teacher and teaches Level I and II Reiki. Lynne developed an interest in anatomy and physiology and proceeded to do her Certificate IV in Remedial Massage and then her Diploma in Remedial Massage. She set up her home practice where she specialised in Myofascial Massage, Oncology Massage and Lymphatic Massage as well as her Reiki treatments. In 2012 Lynne began her training in the Bowen Technique. She has her Diploma in Bowen Therapy and also has her Specialized Procedures II in Bowen. She did her training through Bowtech, which is the original Bowen Therapy.

There's a ligament in the shoulder that commonly adheres to the biceps tendon creating pain and restriction. It's called the coracohumeral ligament. Adhesion here can also impact shoulder mechanics leading to impingement.

We no longer use this as a posture cue: “Pull your shoulder blades back to stop your shoulder blades from going forward.” The muscles around the shoulder blade begin to fatigue. Instead, just elevate your chest and feel as though you are trying to lengthen your spine (neck & back).
