🌿 Walk Together, Share Stories, Celebrate Connection 🌿
Join us at The Footsteps Fair - a day of culture, connection, and community at the Ngurin Cultural Centre, Roebourne, on Friday, 14 November 2025 (9:00 am – 12:00 pm).
Begin the morning with a heartfelt Welcome to Country by Kaylene Daniels and a joyful children’s performance before setting off to Walk the Trail: “Before and Now.”
Along the trail, explore six stations that celebrate our shared journey — from traditional wisdom to our multicultural present:
🎨 Painting Boards & Storyline – Create art and hear stories from our Elders.
🍲 Food: Then and Now – Taste the past and present with bush foods, a community BBQ, and shared plates.
💰 The Money Game – Learn, laugh, and reflect on how trade and community shaped our lives.
🌿 Bush Medicine – Discover natural healing and local knowledge.
🩺 Wellness Checks – Free blood pressure and health assessments from the Embrace team.
We’ll finish with acknowledgements, thank-yous, and a shared sense of belonging. ❤️
