I have been a resident of the Pilbara region for over 18 years and teaching first aid for over 11 years. When my family and I first moved to the Pilbara we lived in the remote town of Pannawonica. It was here that I realised it was vital that I learn first aid, being without family for support, I know that if something happened to the kids it would be I that would need to administer first aid. I completed my first aid course in 2003, then in 2009 I studied and became a trainer for St Johns. Soon after I began volunteering as a Ambulance Officer with St Johns and a volunteer Fire Fighter in Wickham. It was during this time that I set up my own training business and I have had the opportunity to teach on site for Rio Tinto, City of Karratha, Shire of Ashburton, ISS, ESS and small local Pilbara businesses.
