❓️Did you know that how your'e feeling can affect your posture...and your posture can also affect how you're feeling❓️
There is a two way communication system going on between brain 🧠 and body🧘.
Think of when you've felt unsafe, frustrated or anxious and how your body tenses and stiffens. 😡😓
This is your sympathetic nervous syetm at work, readying your body to defend itself.
Once you feel safe, calm and joyful 😁, your body loosens up and and you can move more freely.
Overtime, when our bodies have been holding themselves together in these tight positions, it can affect the alignment of our spine. This puts extra pressure on nerves, reducing the flow of life force energy to our organs, muscles and cells.
We can then start to get a disconnect between brain and body.
Though your mind may realise it is safe and well, the defensive posture of your body is still signalling to the brain that there is a threat.
💫- You can try this by moving into different postural positions. Try standing tall with your shoulder back and jaw relaxed. Then feel the difference when you slouch foward, shoulders tight with your tail bone tucked under -💫
Spinal flow is a gentle way to reconnect your brain and body, balancing out the seesaw of the Sympathetic/Parasympathetic nervous system.
With regular sessions, you may experience positive changes such as:
💮reduced pain and tension
💮structural improvements
💮more ease & free flowing movement
💮more energy and clearer state of mind 💆♀️
