Kibotos Counselling I have worked as a mental health practitioner in various roles for the past 12 years. I have vast experience with all forms of counselling.

Affordable counselling is difficult to find in Karratha; hence the establishment of Kibotos Counselling. Kibotos is an Ancient Greek word that loosely translated 'safe refuge'. The concept of Kibotos Counselling is also to provide best practice approaches to mental health issues. I work closely a GP to ensure that the service provision is of a high quality. I undertake regular professional development to ensure that my practice remains current. I live locally, but provide means for you to see me around the town without feeling threatened that your confidentiality will be compromised. I provide extremely high levels of confidentiality for all clients. I provide generalist counselling with a focus on loss and grieving and relationship counselling. I am available after hours weekdays and for limited periods on the weekends; however for these sessions the price is higher ($70 as opposed to $50 for weekday appointments prior to 5pm).

After surgery in December last year, I have had to close temporarily whilst recovering from surgery to my neck. I am pleased to announce that I will be reopening Kibotos Counselling next week, so please feel free to request an appointment. A GP referral is not required and the session rate is $50 per hour during the week and $70 weekends and appointments after 5:30pm weekdays.

The new year is a great time to start down the path of improving your mental health.
