Expression of Interest – Guest Speakers & Presenters Wanted

International Day of People with Disability | December 2025
📍 Pilbara Region

Do you have a story to share?
A message that matters?
An experience that others need to hear?

This year, the Pilbara Disability Network is proud to centre the voices of people with disability at our upcoming International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) event — and we’re currently seeking guest speakers and presenters with lived experience.

We’re looking for individuals who:
✨ Have a disability and want to share their personal journey
✨ Are passionate about inclusion, advocacy, or access
✨ Have a creative or unique way of telling their story (spoken word, art, performance, etc.)
✨ Want to inspire others through honesty, humour, pride, or resilience

Whether you’re new to public speaking or have presented before, we’d love to hear from you.

📝 How to apply:
To express your interest, send us a message or email pilbaradisabilitynetwork@gmail.com.
Applications are welcome in all formats, including written, visual, video or audio submissions.

We’ll be in touch with all applicants over the coming weeks.

Let’s amplify local voices, challenge assumptions, and celebrate the power of lived experience this December. 💜
