✍️Earlier this year, Tom Zaunmayr from Business News —sat down with us to share our story and talk about the realities of hospitality in regional towns. 🏜️

🙏It was truly a privilege to reflect on how Lo’s began, with two founders, Ginger and Steven Lo, and a simple belief —𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲, 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗶𝘀. 💚

🥰Lo’s has never been just a café or restaurant.It’s a space where people connect, where stories are shared, and where care is felt in the little things.

💚And the truth is ….without Karratha community, without all of you — Lo’s wouldn’t be Lo’s.

🙄The other day, while I was at the office, my daughter said she was bored… so I told her, “You can draw something on the wall in my office.”🖍️

Then… this is what she created, without looking at anything.🤩

Yes, she drew Lo’s. And what she wrote above it honestly touched me so much.🥹

Lo’s has been part of her life since the day she was born, so seeing her draw this made me feel all the emotions. This is how she sees Lo’s, and maybe how she sees me too.

🌀Cyclone Narelle caused a lot of damage, and we truly hope everyone is safe. 💚

Even though we had to close for one day, we missed 20+ calls — probably from people checking if Lo’s was open or still alive 🫣. So many of our regulars also messaged us with updates and checked in on us. That really meant a lot. 🥰

Today….as soon as we opened the doors, the human cyclone came through and absolutely smashed Lo’s with love and support. We felt it all. So, so loved. 🙌

🙏A huge thank you to Team Lo’s for staying ready through all the uncertainty.

💚And a big thank you to the City of Karratha, especially Chloe, Fiona and Andrew, for keeping us updated so we could safely open our doors again.👏

Lo’s is more than grateful for this community.
