Incorporates all aspects of primary vision care. Behavioural Optometrists examine all age ranges of patients from infants, school aged children through to adults of all ages. Behavioural optometry incorporates regular vision care with vision development assessments. Fitting Laboratory
The on-site lens fitting laboratory at Vision West ensures you receive maximum quality and fast reliable spectacle service. An immediate repair and adjustment service is also available. Orthokeratology
Orthokeratology more commonly referred to as ‘Ortho-K', the use of contact lenses to reshape the cornea (front surface of the eyes) in order to reduce levels of myopia and astigmatism.

What is Myopia control? Myopia control refers to a series of treatments aimed to slow down the progression of myopia (nearsightedness) in children and teenagers.
These treatments can help reduce the final degree of myopia and potentially decrease the risk of related eye diseases later in life.
It is important to have regular eye examinations and to have a thorough eye assessment, which should include measuring the axial length (length of the eyes).

OPTOS The optomap non-invasively captures an instantaneous, ultra-wide field digital image of the retina, revealing important information for the comprehensive evaluation of systemic and ocular health. The image, which is captured in less than half a second, is performed quickly and easily and is generally performed as part of a comprehensive eye exam. The entire image process consists of you looking into the device one eye at a time
