Springbank Horse Farm

Springbank Horse Farm Springbank Horse Farm is a 140acre Racehorse Spelling Farm located in North East Victoria. Paddy resides at the farm with his young family.

Closely situated 5 minutes from the world renowned Goulburn Valley Equine Hospital. Founded by Paddy Scott in 2005 following previous industry expertise as the Racing Manager at Gilgai Farm (Home of Black Caviar) and as Assistant Stud Manager at Collingrove Stud (now Swettenham Stud). Paddy has a passion for racing and has had a lifetime involvement within the industry. Paddy's calm and down to earth nature are fundamental when handling thoroughbreds. Paddy takes great pride in individualising the nutrition requirements of each equine athlete that comes to Springbank. With livestock weighing scales on site, we have the ability to accurately record each horses progress. When he is not busy tending to the horses, he may be found helping the kids with their pony or out tossing the Yabby nets into the dam!

The employee testified that she resigned after Ms Laxon asked her to write a false letter in relation to a separate Magistrates’ Court court case concerning unpaid agistment fees: “I didn’t want to perjure myself”. The employee gave evidence that she was asked to write a letter saying “we had not received invoices from Springbank, we hadn’t sighted them. I had.” (see [160ff]).

Justice Digby further found that Ms Laxon “deliberately altered” Horse History records relevant to the case “in significant respects” after document discovery in the proceeding before him…
