So grateful to be doing this wild-inner-work with my clients. Supporting them to move through their 'stuff', to lighten their load and gain insights on who they are and where they've come from. For this work I utilise sandplay, voice dialogue, meditation/mindfulness, breathwork, energy healing (Reiki), outdoor 'landplay', re-wilding, journey work, rights-of-passage (eg. boyhood to manhood to fatherhood) and mentoring. I've been doing this wild-inner-work for over 40 years now.

Just revisited some articles I wrote back in 2015 for Kindred Media called The Birthing Zone. Writing about the psycological journey men make into fatherhood, from conception, to birth and beyond: A constant process of 'becoming', which is totally entwined in the mother's and baby's journeys of 'becoming' a mother and human. I'm so up for working with men on their own journey - no matter where they are at.

Excited to be back in the clinic tomorrow after the Easter/school holiday break. Part of it was spending three days camping in my favourite Blue Mts cool-temperate rainforest canyon which I've visited on and off for over 40 years. So I have a certain 'sense of place' for it. Three days chilling out with the giant coachwoods, sassafras, lyre birds, antechinus and the smells of the rich damp soil. As well as drinking the purest water from the creek.

One thing I also did was a bit of a 'divination', with a rock! I asked the rock what my purpose is now, in this stage of life. The answer I received was, 'to support people in finding their place'. To find their place not only in the world, but also within themselves. When I got home and switched my phone back on I got not one but three messages from people wanting exactly this. Can't fault the power of the rock and rainforest; tuning into the earth and psyche. The soul of the landscape mirrors the landscapes of the soul. This is the work that I do.

Now 2023 is well and truely underway I wish to convey health and happiness to all. 2022 was a tough year for me. I generally don't have 'good' or 'bad' years. They are what they are. But losing both my mum and dad last year in the space of eight months was particularly tough. This year I'm looking forward to working with as many people as I can in the clinic and out in the bush (ask me). Helping them through tough times, as well as supporting people on their soul/spirit journey through the Transpersonal work. Please PM me to arrange a free face to face, phone, or online chat. We hear a lot about being or staying 'positive'. However, trying to stay positive is actually a denial of the shadow aspects of our psyches. It takes a lot of emotional energy to stay in denial. We do it because we're more afraid of the 'negative', the dark unknown. But when the shadows are brought into consciousness and cleared, the light instantly and automatically fills the void and the heart opens to that which is beyond the positive and negative.
