Our first class starts on Thursday 13th of October at 6pm (Sydney time) via zoom.

My little yarrow patch is looking 💚💚💚
Yarrow is classed as a stiptic, meaning it can stem blood flow, it is also astringent and diaphoretic so it’s useful for any excess flow of fluids. Think excessive sweating and phlegm in colds and flu.
I recommend yarrow especially for women with heavy menstrual flow.
Take 1 cup of yarrow tea daily and 1 every hour when bleeding is heavy.
Combine with peppermint and echinacea and you have the classic YEP tea traditionally used for colds and flu.

How to lose weight and keep it off.

Jodie has come to me to help her lose some weight. She’s been here before, in fact only 12 months ago Jodie had lost 12kg and was feeling better than ever. But in the last year Jodie explains that she has put all that weight back on and more.

“Why is it so easy to put weight on, and yet so hard to keep it off?” she says, exasperated.

It can be frustrating, and also leave women feeling like they have failed. There are a myriad of influences that impact on our nutrition choices. It’s not a matter of being weak willed! Having a young daughter diagnosed with type one diabetes sparked a burning passion for the field of metabolic health and autoimmunity. Melanie specialises in digestive health and cardiometabolic health, including diabetes, metabolic syndrome and weight loss.
