A Heart Health Check is a simple GP appointment that assesses your risk of heart attack or stroke over the next five years. It looks at your blood pressure, cholesterol, weight, and lifestyle — and it's Medicare-subsidised for eligible patients aged 45 and over (or 30 and over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients).

Many people don't know their risk until something goes wrong. A check takes just a few minutes and could make all the difference.
