Our NEW Pokemon Pals group yesterday was a hit! It was amazing to see the kids bonding so readily over their shared interest in Pokemon and collaborating on projects over the course of the group 🙌 We also had a lot of language used to describe the different types of Pokemon, their bodies and powers.

Our Art Alliance group shared their special interests in creation and exploration of various media yesterday with our Yayoi Kusama inspired art - note the pumpkins, flowers and lots of dots! We used mirrors, various types of paper, easels and SO many wonderful pieces were created!

We had some amazing learning and fun happening yesterday in our Brilliant Bodies group program. We learned about visiting the doctor and the dentist, labelling body parts and feelings, explored self esteem and so much more, all while having fun together! It is so important for kids to be able to describe their feelings, where things are going on (or going wrong!) in their bodies, so these skills are so important and functional.

We are back for 2026 and we have started the year with some fresh, fruity FUN with our new Fruity Friends group! It was fantastic to see the kiddos so interested in a variety of different fruits, discussing and exploring their features, preparing and eating fruit salad and so much more!

Today marks our last clinical day for 2025! We will be closed from 5pm this afternoon until 8am Monday 19th January 2026. Our emails and phones will not be monitored during this time so that our team can restore and recharge ready to give their best in the new year!

This week we had a special V.I.E. (Very Important Elf) visitor as part of our Kindergarten Concepts group for Show and Tell! We are practising important school readiness skills such as:
- organising your items
- talking in front of a group
- choosing people to ask questions
- asking relevant questions
- answering questions

This very special visitor definitely got some interest from the group and inspired some great questions!

Our Foundation FUNdamentals kiddos have been practising their letter-sound links - we have been working on skills such as:
- identifying letters and their sounds
- practising writing letters with the correct direction and shape
- identifying sounds at the start, middle and end of words

This group provides a fun opportunity to reinforce these skills and add some extra practice in outside of the classroom, alongside peers.

In our Kindergarten Concepts groups we have been enjoying these stories about giving things a go and having a growth mindset. It has been great to open up discussions about self esteem, how we treat others, keeping on trying and attitudes about winning and losing, all through these stories!
