VVED - Victorian Virtual Emergency Department

The Victorian Virtual Emergency Department (VVED), is a public health service to treat non-life-threatening emergencies.

The VVED is NOT for life-threatening emergencies. Please dial '000' for life-threatening emergencies and request an ambulance.

Anyone with a video-enabled device can participate in the Virtual ED. If you do not have a video-enabled device, you will need to contact your usual healthcare provider or service.

PRIMARY CARE CENTRES OPENING IN MOONEE PONDS & SUNSHINE
Priority Primary Care Centres (PPCC) OPEN - NORTH WEST



Priority Primary Care Centres provide care for people with conditions that require urgent attention but not an emergency (non life - threatening) response.

GPs can now refer patients to PPCCs set up around Victoria. PPCCs are open after-hours and offer pathology, imaging and pharmacy services as well as general consultations. They are located in close proximity to major hospital emergency departments and accept walk-ins and bookings.

The two PPCC's nearest to Keilor Village Medical are:

Moonee Ponds - Location: Moonee Ponds Medical and Dental, 34/46 Holmes Rd, Moonee Ponds

Opening hours: 10am-8pm, seven days a week (supporting Royal Melbourne Hospital)

Respiratory Clinics

New GP Respiratory Clinics (GPRCs) provide face-to-face assessment & testing (including for COVID - 19), and immediate support for issues such as:

Asthma

COPD

Pneumonia

Influenza

Shortness of breath

COVID-like symptoms

Services are available for anyone with respiratory symptoms, including children, with or without a Medicare card, at no cost.

Clinics are open seven days a week and after hours, in many locations across greater Melbourne.
