This February is Heart Health month!
Did you know that heart disease is Australia’s leading single cause of death, killing one Australian every 28 minutes?

Keeping your heart healthy, whatever your age, is the most important thing you can do to help prevent and manage heart disease. Some risks factors include: smoking, cholesterol, high blood pressure, being inactive, diabetes, being overweight, and even family history. Even if you have two or more risk factors, you can still make changes that will reduce your chances of developing heart problems.

Familiar with any of these signs? Wanting to make a change? Book an appointment with one of our doctors on HotDoc or give our receptionist a call on (02) 8213 7455.

This World Cancer Day is all about showing that our actions have an impact on everyone around us, within our neighborhoods, communities and cities. And that more than ever, our actions are also being felt across borders and oceans. This year is a reminder of the enduring power of cooperation and collective action. When we choose to come together, we can achieve what we all wish for: a healthier, brighter world without cancer. Together, all of our actions matter. This World Cancer Day, who are you and what will you do?

If you think you've contracted the virus, go to your local testing center and make sure to be self isolating.

Febfast is finally here!
Febfast is where individuals pause for a cause by giving up alcohol, sugar or another vice of their choice, to support disadvantaged youth in Australia. It is the perfect excuse to kick-start the year with a little good health and good will.

Across Australia, thousands of people give up alcohol or sugar for the month of February to raise funds for young people experiencing serious disadvantage to access the resources and support they require to lead healthy and fulfilling lives.
