It reminded me that therapy is not about sticking to a plan, it is about being present, building connection, and celebrating the strengths that show up in unexpected ways.

In this video, I talk about listening closely to childrenโ€™s voices, leaning into new experiences, and walking alongside parents as they notice growth.

Our Story

Di, the Speech Pathologist at Perth Hills Speech Pathology, has a passion for helping all children to be able to communicate and to reach their full potential with whatever their dreams of communication and literacy are. She believes that communication is a basic human right and every person has the right to a robust means of communication. Di is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and a Hanen certified Speech Pathologist in the It Takes Two to Talk and More than Words parent programs and the ABC and Beyond program for teachers. Di is also a registered Sounds-Write trainer.
