🗣️ Medicare Funding Expanded for Speech Therapy (From 1 March 2026)

Medicare has expanded funding, making speech therapy more accessible for children and young people under 25 who stutter or have unclear speech. This means more families can access assessment and therapy with Medicare rebates.

What’s included:
✨ Up to 8 Medicare-rebated assessment sessions (lifetime)
✨ Up to 20 Medicare-rebated therapy sessions (lifetime)
✨ GP referral pathways
✨ Reduced out-of-pocket costs

You may consider speech therapy if your child:
• Is difficult to understand for their age
• Is flagged by a teacher, GP, or educator
• Becomes frustrated or withdrawn when communicating

Other funding options such as NDIS, Chronic Condition Management, and private health rebates may also apply.

Speak with your GP or contact our clinic to learn more. Early support can make a lifelong difference. 💬

🧠💥 When your brain needs a break… but you're the parent, the lunch-maker, the email-answerer, the snack-finder, the chaos-coordinator… all before 10am.

Signs you might need a brain break:
☑ You opened the fridge and forgot why
☑ You called your child by the pet’s name
☑ You reheated your coffee… again
☑ You started a sentence, forgot it mid-way, and just walked away
☑ You’ve started nodding at emails like it’s a Zoom call

✨ Reminder from us to you:
Your brain is amazing, but it’s not a machine.

It wasn’t designed to run on empty, carry everyone else, and never pause.

Five quiet minutes. A walk outside. A deep breath in the car before you go back inside. That counts.

You don’t have to earn rest. You’re allowed to reset before you reach breaking point. 💛

𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆

Today we celebrate the women who show up every day for their families, their work, their communities, and often everyone else before themselves.

Here’s to strong women.
And to making sure they don’t have to do it all alone.
