All-on-X or ‘full arch’ dental implants can be restored in different ways. Some clinics use a two-stage approach, where implants are placed first and a temporary bridge is worn for several months before the final bridge is fitted. This involves the cost of two bridges. Others use a single-stage approach, where a strong, titanium-reinforced acrylic bridge is attached soon after surgery and worn during healing, and may be worn for many years before needing to be replaced.

At Kelmscott Dental, we use the single-stage method to provide strong, immediate fixed teeth while the implants integrate with the jawbone. How long this first bridge lasts will vary depending on factors like your bite, oral health and ongoing maintenance, on average, the bridge may last two to five years.

We’re often asked why All-on-X treatment costs what it does. The price reflects the components, planning and ongoing care involved. Treatment generally includes four titanium implants with abutments, a fixed titanium-reinforced acrylic bridge, your surgery, clinical radiographs and several follow-up visits during the first six months. It also includes a warranty on the implants, titanium bar and acrylic teeth. **The cost of replacement bridges are not included and start from $8500 per arch.

All-on-X is designed as a long-term fixed teeth replacement solution, but every patient’s needs are different. At your consultation, we provide a detailed quote, explain the benefits and risks, outline long-term maintenance costs, bridge replacement and repair costs, and discuss payment plan options where available. Having a full breakdown can make the decision easier.

Prices start from $21000 per arch or $40000 for both arches^.

So, why’s it called All-on-4® or All-on-X? Basically, the term refers to replacing a whole set of teeth using just four implants. The front two go straight in, and the back ones are angled to bypass sinuses or nerves — and to make the most of the available jaw bone you’ve got.
