Some exciting news from Dr Norcross who soon will be relocating his implant and surgical clinic Perth Dental Implant Centre to Applecross.

Dr Norcross has been the Practice Principal at Kelmscott Dental for the past 14 years, during which time he has played a key role in growing and shaping the practice. While we are sad to see him move on, we are delighted to support him as he embarks on a new chapter as a practice owner.

🦷 Wisdom tooth pain? You’re not alone!

Wisdom teeth don’t always need to be removed, but sometimes they can cause more harm than good. A wisdom tooth may need to come out if it’s:

✔️ Causing ongoing or severe pain
✔️ Impacted under the gum (stuck and unable to fully emerge)
✔️ Only partly erupted, making it hard to clean and more prone to decay or infection
✔️ Crowding other teeth and affecting alignment

While you’re waiting to see the dentist, there are a few ways to outwit the pain:

💊 Over-the-counter medication (paracetamol or ibuprofen)
💊 Prescription medication if your dentist recommends it
🌿 Home remedies such as warm saltwater rinses, or a cold compress
