From today creating sexually explicit deepfakes of a real person is a crime in NSW. The reform criminalises the alteration, production and distribution of sexually explicit intimate images and audio material.

Tech-facilitated abuse is growing rapidly with perpetrators quick to exploit emerging technologies such as generative AI. These reforms bring NSW in line with other jurisdictions in addressing image-based abuse.

🌸 Free Menopause Workshop 🌸

We’re teaming up with Women's Health - Western NSW Local Health District to bring you a free, supportive menopause workshop for women in our community.

Menopause can bring big changes—physically, emotionally, and mentally - but it doesn’t have to be something you navigate alone. This workshop is a chance to learn, ask questions, and feel reassured in a safe, respectful space.

RSVP with us on (02) 6331 4133 or by emailing: info@cwwhc.org.au

Calling all women aged 40+ who haven’t had a breast screen before.

Our friends at BreastScreen NSW are making it easy, free, and supportive to take this important step 💪✨

We know first-timers often have questions, so here’s what you need to know:

✔️ It’s quick – the whole appointment takes less than 20 minutes
✔️ It’s free – no referral needed
✔️ Your privacy matters – all radiographers are female and will work with you to keep you comfortable

A breast screen can find cancers long before they can be seen or felt — sometimes as small as a grain of rice. Finding breast cancer early means more treatment options and a better chance of recovery.

🎉 Bonus for first-timers in February:
Have your first screen during February and go into a daily draw to win a $50 Bras N’ Things voucher.

📅 Book online at breastscreen.nsw.gov.au or call 13 20 50

Today we hold space in our hearts for the lives that have tragically been lost to gender-based violence in Lake Cargelligo. We acknowledge the family’s right to share information about their loved ones in a manner that gives them ownership of their loss experience and bereavement needs.

Across Australia, we also reflect on all women lost to gender-based violence. Femicide Watch Australia has recorded that four women have already died by femicide in 2026. Behind these statistics are real people, real stories, and deep human loss. We hold deep respect for these women, whose lives were taken far too soon, and for the families, friends, and community members now carrying unimaginable grief.

In our collective grief we call for care, awareness and responsibility. Check in on those around you, listen and believe.

Caring and confidential supports are available and include:
