As a proud member of Apollo Care, we are delighted to announce that yesterday, that Board members of Quirindi Care Services (QCS) voted to join our Alliance. QCS’s not-for-profit aged care community, Eloura, near Tamworth, has been caring for locals for the last 50 years but has struggled to remain financially viable in the increasingly challenging regulatory and operating environment. Eloura will become the 14th community to join Apollo Care, and like all the communities in our Alliance, we will protect its name, purpose and legacy, while investing the capital and systems needed to ensure it remains sustainable for generations to come. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/19QsnAkYVr/

The three things Bernie loves doing to stay connected to the people and places he loves:
1️⃣ Making friends - I feel like I’ve known the residents and staff all my life. Everyone is so easy to get along with. I feel part of the family.
2️⃣ Staying active - I enjoy attending the activities, especially playing darts with the Men’s Social Group.
3️⃣ Everything - I love everything about Vincent Court!

Vincent Court residents love a scenic bus trip! Last week, we visited South West Rocks. Although affected by the recent floods, this is a beautiful part of our local region and much loved by residents and staff alike.

On the weekend, we helped celebrate Mary's 100th birthday!🌷 We held a beautiful, intimate gathering organised by Mary's family and she was surrounded by lots of love on this special milestone. We love your beautiful smile, Mary!

A lovely morning raising funds for Australia's Biggest Morning Tea this week! 🍵 Residents enjoyed delicious cake over a cuppa and had lots of fun participating in the raffle and lucky draws. A very enjoyable way to raise funds for this Cancer Council initiative.

Due to recent weather events and floods, we will continue to sell raffle tickets until Friday 6 June to allow staff and residents the chance to purchase tickets and help raise even more funds.
