Mental Health - a topic which needs more attention. Even though we are in the 20th century, this still seems like a taboo topic, wiped away to the side and not acknowledged.

The difficult times we are going through makes us feel anxious, angry, depressed and frustrated. All of these things impact our mental health, which gives us dark thoughts & dark days where we feel lost ... it is very important to connect with someone you feel comfortable with to talk about your experiences. Don't be afraid to reach out and get help.

Listening is about more than hearing what a person is saying. It's important to look out for the signs someone could be struggling.

Consider things like big changes in their life, financial difficulties, a relationship breakdown, a change in behaviour and the tone and language they are using.

By acting as ‘eyes and ears’ and reaching out to anyone who's going through a tough time please check in with your friends & families.

Spend time with them, have a laugh together, a walk or just being there for them and support them. Life is way too short!

When you realise how beautiful your backyard is ... you don't have to go far away to experience beautiful things.

Goals for today were being active and enjoy nature, observe wildlife and the peaceful moments.

Highlights were observing the white breasted Sea Eagles and Wading birds e.g. Spoonbills, Egrets, little black Cormorants and lots of Sea gulls.

Overall a great day out and we had lots of fun.

Hope everyone had a good start to the new week after an amazing weekend of sun and blue skies.

Montem Support was out bike riding, keeping us active and warm as the mornings are getting cooler.

We ended our ride with breakfast at Urban on the Jetty strip. It was delicious and fuelled us up to continue the day.
