Masons Eyecare has been in Kempsey for over 70 years and we are very proud to be a part of the Macleay Valley. The practice was originally opened by Doug Mason prior to 1942 in Smith Street, Kempsey. His wife Dulcie also joined him as an optometrist and they ran the business together for many years whilst raising a family. At Masons Eyecare we have a genuine passion and commitment to our industry

and we will take the time to explain what you are having done in the testing room and should you need specatcles we will take the time to show you the difference between quality frames and lenses and the generic product available.

Eye cancers, while not overly common, are still serious conditions that requires awareness and early detection across Australia.

Ocular melanoma is a rare but serious eye cancer that affects around 150 Australians every year. Early detection through regular eye exams can help diagnose it sooner and save lives, especially for those with increased risk.
