The Durri Aboriginal Corporation Medical Service (Durri ACMS) was established in 1976. The name Durri means "to grow in good health" and was bestowed upon the organisation by members of the local Aboriginal community. Located in Kempsey, approximately half way between the cities of Brisbane and Sydney.

🌿 Men’s Healing Camp – Starting This Thursday 🌿

A reminder to our community that our Men’s Healing Camp begins this Thursday, 4 December 2025, held in partnership with Wuungaati Barriya Aboriginal Corporation.

This camp is a powerful opportunity for our men to come together, connect on Country, strengthen cultural identity, and support one another in healing.

Today we had a constructive and positive meeting with Pat Conaghan MP regarding our Residential Rehabilitation Centre. We are pleased to share that the project is continuing to move forward, with strong support and valuable discussion around the next steps.

This centre is an important part of strengthening healing pathways for our community, and we look forward to updating you as progress continues.

Today we received an amazing donation of toys for our upcoming Community Christmas Event on Friday 12 December 2025 from 4pm at Kempsey Racecourse Your generosity will help make this festive season extra special for our children, young people, and families across the community.

We’re also excited to share that Santa and Mrs Claus will be joining us on the day to ensure all our dalai’s feel celebrated, appreciated, and wrapped in Christmas cheer.
