Sadly today was Chloe’s last day at The Glow Centre.

Chloe has been a valued member of our team and we are so proud to have supported her through her journey to become endorsed as a clinical psychologist. She has truly flourished during her time with us, and we wish the very best for her future.

If you’ve ever felt frustrated that personal growth isn’t happening fast enough, you’re not alone — and you’re not failing.

Change is slow because your brain is designed to protect you, not rush you.

Our habits, coping strategies, and emotional patterns develop over many years. They’re built to keep us safe, even when they no longer serve us. When we try to change, the brain often responds with caution — slowing the process to make sure we’re not stepping into danger.

Real, lasting change involves:
• Learning emotional safety
• Practising new skills again and again
• Gently unlearning old protective patterns
