Paula has been our frame-crazed team member since January 2022. When she’s not in store you can find her enjoying a cheeky margarita, making jewellery or watching Survivor. Paula also loves hanging out with her friends and her family every chance she can. Hand-picking frames for the store is one of Paula’s favourite things about KPO, her love for a funky red frame is contagious! Fun fact: Paula has once won a share of the Lotto! ♥️👀👓

Fred Hollows, an eye surgeon and humanitarian, helped restore eyesight to thousands of people both in Australia and overseas. He believed that affordable and quality eye care services should be available to everyone. Hollow's work led to building or improving 4000 medical facilities globally, helping over a million people each year.
This year Kenmore Plaza Optometrist is joining Fred's Big Run to raise money for this incredible man and the foundation he created. We would appreciate any support as we run through the month of August! Our donation page has been linked at the top of the page. ♥️👀👓

Dry Eye Awareness Month! How to manage dry eyes at home:
* Avoid direct A/C or fan exposure
* 20/20/20 rule while doing close activities - every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds
* Stay hydrated
* Wear wrapped sunglasses outdoors

If you find that your eyes are still feeling dry after taking these measures, come into store and see one of our fantastic optometrists. They'll be able to pinpoint the cause of your dry eyes and come up with a treatment plan personalised to you. 👀♥️👓
