Your Care, Our Commitment. A World-Class Achievement! ๐Ÿ’š

Bundaberg Private Day Hospital is thrilled to announce weโ€™ve achieved an exceptional world-class Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 89! ๐ŸŽ‰

What is a Net Promoter Score (NPS)?

NPS measures our patient experience by asking how likely patients are to recommend our hospital. An NPS above 50 is considered excellent, and anything over 80 is world-classโ€”so weโ€™re thrilled with our score of 89! ๐Ÿ†

This remarkable score reflects the trust and satisfaction our patients have in the care we provide. Since opening in 2019, Bundaberg Private Day Hospital has established a reputation for excellence in day surgery, with two modern operating theatres, on-site doctor consulting rooms, and an experienced and passionate nursing and administration team.

We are proud to provide an outstanding healthcare experience for patients and doctors across ophthalmology, general surgery, endoscopy, plastic and reconstructive surgery and skin lesion surgery.

Since joining the Nexus Hospitals national network in 2022, Bundaberg Private Day Hospital continues to provide the highest quality healthcare services, playing a vital role and positively impacting the health and well-being of our community in regional Queensland. ๐Ÿฅโœจ

Thank you to our patients for your feedback. It inspires us to continuously improve and deliver exceptional care!

Our thoughts are with the Bundaberg community as the region faces significant flooding following days of heavy rainfall across Queensland.

Evacuation warnings have been issued in parts of Bundaberg as the Burnett River continues to rise, with many homes and businesses expected to be impacted and some residents already isolated due to road closures and flooding.

At Bundaberg Private Day Hospital, we are thinking of our patients, employees and the wider community during this challenging time. Regional communities are incredibly resilient, and we are deeply grateful to the healthcare workers, emergency services and volunteers supporting people on the ground.

The safety and wellbeing of our team and patients remains our priority, and we stand with the Bundaberg community as everyone navigates the days ahead.

Please stay safe and follow advice from local authorities.

Celebrating PeriAnaesthesia Nurses โ€“ International PeriAnaesthesia Week 2026 (IPAW26) ๐Ÿ’™

At Nexus Hospitals, weโ€™re proud to recognise the amazing nurses working across pre-anaesthesia and post-anaesthesia care, ambulatory surgery, and pain management.

Peri-anaesthesia nurses play a vital role in every patient journey caring for patients and supporting families during some of their most vulnerable moments. Their professionalism, expertise and compassion shine through in everything they do.

IPAW is a chance to celebrate the passion and dedication our peri-anaesthesia nurses bring to patient care every day, and to help raise awareness of the important role they play in delivering safe, high-quality healthcare.

Thank you for everything you do today and every day. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’™

The cornerstone of our success is the strong partnership with our doctors, the trusted relationships with our suppliers, and the unwavering dedication of our hospital teams. โ˜€๏ธ National Skin Cancer Action Week is a timely reminder for all Australians to protect their skin and prioritise regular skin checks.

Australia has one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world โ€” yet most cases can be prevented by following the five forms of sun protection:
๐Ÿงด Slip on sun-protective clothing
๐Ÿ•ถ๏ธ Slop on SPF30+ broad-spectrum sunscreen
๐Ÿ‘’ Slap on a wide-brimmed hat
๐ŸŒณ Seek shade
๐ŸŒค๏ธ Slide on sunglasses

The health and well-being of our people and patients is always our highest priority. Across our national hospital network, we continue to provide specialised skin surgery services โ€” including dermatology and Mohs surgery, reconstructive plastic surgery and oculoplastic surgery โ€” to deliver the best clinical and cosmetic outcomes for our patients.

Meet our national network of specialists who offer skin surgery services here ๐Ÿ‘‡

As summer approaches, itโ€™s a great time to check in on your sun safety habits, book a skin check and encourage others to do the same.

Each November, people around the world ๐ŸŒŽ unite to raise awareness and funds for menโ€™s health through Movember - focusing on mental health and su***de prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer.

Our hospital is proud to support this important cause. Movember isnโ€™t just about growing a moustache itโ€™s about starting conversations that can save lives and reminding one another that itโ€™s okay to talk about health, both physical and mental.

Across our national hospital network, team members are getting involved by growing a mo, hosting events, and spreading awareness. Whether itโ€™s a freshly sprouted moustache, a walk with colleagues, or a chat over coffee โ˜• about mental wellbeing, every action makes a difference.

Hereโ€™s how you can join in:
ใ€ฐ๏ธ Grow: Sport your mo proudly this Movember.
ใ€ฐ๏ธ Move: Run, walk, cycle, or swim 60km for the 60 men lost to su***de every hour across the globe.
ใ€ฐ๏ธ Host: Bring people together from morning teas to team challenges to spark meaningful conversations.
ใ€ฐ๏ธ Donate: Support a colleague or contribute directly at movember.com.

Together, we can help change the face of menโ€™s health one conversation, one moustache, and one movement at a time ๐Ÿ’š
