We are so quick to become disappointed, frustrated, resentful, deflated, unmotivated, angry and out of control when we have setbacks. We are so quick to see it as a negative instead of viewing it as a positive. 🤔
Imagine if that set back was meant to happen. Imagine if you did not have that set back, you wouldn’t of changed your direction and gained the next opportunity your way. You may have not been where you are today, you may have not been where you were five months ago. The secret is to welcome it. 💗💗
To remove the negative connotations associated with a setback. Remove the negative thought processes attached to a setback. Remove the what if’s and just settle with where you are, right now. Have trust this was supposed to happen. Have faith you are where you need to be. 🙏🏽
Sometimes our minds take over and give false impressions as to where we should be when in actual fact we didn’t need to be there at all. In actual fact we needed this setback to reassess where we are at and change directions to stop a path we did not need to go down or a path full of barriers, obstacles, heartache or uncertainty.
We need to stop trying to control where we are at and just allow it to happen. Welcome the setbacks, view them as opportunities and don’t become attached to where you are at a certain time. When we become attached it allows disappointment to enter and emotions of failure or not being good enough.
See a setback as a learning or another step in the RIGHT direction- it doesn’t matter if it’s forwards, backwards or to the side. It’s a movement somewhere and in that movement is new opportunities, new learnings and where you need to be right now.
Setbacks are necessary. They can make you become the superhero you are! 🌟☄️✨💫⚡️
