Our clinic is moving to a fantastic new location! We can't wait to welcome you to our new space.

📍 New Location: 11 Mariner Street, Linden Park, SA 5065

Please note:

Our current clinic at Kent Town will be open until 7pm on Thursday, 23 October 2025.

All existing appointments, operating hours, and patient services will remain unchanged. If you have an appointment on or after October 27th, simply come to the new location at your scheduled time.

Parents, here's some eye-opening news from the US that has serious implications for us here in Australia. A recent four-year study of 4285 young people found that it's not the amount of time spent on screens that's the biggest issue, but rather the nature of the use. The research uncovered a link between addictive screen use and a higher risk of mental health problems and suicidal behaviours in teenagers.

Researchers defined "addictive use" by signs like feeling unable to stop using a device, experiencing distress when not using it, or using it to escape problems. Alarmingly, nearly a third of the participants showed an increasing trajectory of addictive social media use.

This study is a vital reminder for Australian parents to look beyond screen time limits and focus on how our kids are engaging with their digital devices. Are they showing signs of compulsion or distress? If so, it might be time to have a chat and consider seeking professional advice.
