On Monday we attended the U3A concert at the Memorial Hall.
The Drama group’s production of “The Show Must go On” - an act in three parts- was thoroughly enjoyed.
The concert also featured the Kerang Singing Group & the Barham Rock and Roll group.

On Tuesday, Stuart & Doreen entertained an enthusiastic audience with their old time dance tunes.

On Wednesday we welcomed Spiritual Care Coordinator, Colleen Scriven, who officiated our annual Memorial Service - a poignant tribute to those Residents that have passed before us in the last twelve months.

WDTAC has enjoyed a jam-packed week full of fun and laughter! 🎉
Our Auction Day was a huge hit, with attendees eagerly bidding on a range of items. Some highlights included plastic bags selling for $70 and a mystery bag going for over $600! 💰 The room was filled with laughter and plenty of friendly competition.
We also enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the Men’s Shed, along with activities including Bingo, Show & Tell, a friendly game of Hungry Hippos, ball skills, and team-building exercises.
It’s been a fantastic week bringing everyone together and creating great memories 😊

On Tuesday we celebrated St.Patrick’s Day - with all things green! ☘️

Irish music was enjoyed - songs including “Maggie”, “Danny Boy” & “Mull of Kintyre” evoked many memories. ☘️

Food included chocolate cupcakes with peppermint icing; green jelly slice & savoury cups with avocado dip, celery, cucumber & capsicum.☘️

Irish bowls proved extremely unpredictable using a turnip as the jack & potatoes for bowls!☘️

The competition to guess the number of gold/chocolate coins was hotly contested - (Individuals guessed between 30 & 110) - winner being Dot W. with 59! 🌈☘️🌟

Staff embraced the day & dressed up also.☘️

WDTAC has had another busy and enjoyable program!

Our attendees enjoyed lunch outings to Why Not Café and the Barham Club, sharing great food and even better company.

We were entertained by the wonderful Barham Koondrook Choir, along with Ian and Trevor from Cohuna, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
We also checked out the impressive Dragon that had been on display in the lead-up to the Luna Festival.

Our group has also continued listening to stories from Saluting Their Service by Noel Fisher, which have been very meaningful and well received.
Lots of great outings, entertainment and time spent together!

*Milly, Molly Mandy by Joyce Lankester Brisley; *Downy Duckling by W***y Schermele; *Pinocchio by Walt Disney; Numerous Noddy books by AA Milne & Enid Blyton books.

Glenarm.

A very busy week, with many activities being enjoyed - Bingo, Dominoes, Skipbo cards, Coffee Club & Baking.

CWA rides - thank-you to volunteer pilot/rider Bryan for getting people out & about in the fresh air.

Entertainment.
We welcomed Kerang Singing Group & Johnny Doyle.

Volunteer Wendy read from “A Flower Fairies Treasury” by Cicely Mary Barker.
Each person chose their favourite flower & a corresponding poem was read. 🌹🌻🌸🌼🌷🌺

The Treat Trolley is always popular & makes its way around each week. Popular items are purchased for a nominal price & greatly enjoyed.
