The 12-month transition period for the new NDIS support lists ended on 2 October 2025.

This means from now, if NDIS funding is used to buy something that isn’t an approved NDIS support, a debt may be raised - even for purchases under $1,500.

To help participants, the NDIA has put safeguards in place:
✅ More guidance and resources before payments are made
✅ Manual checks and contact if something looks unclear
✅ Individual circumstances considered before raising a debt
✅ Options for review, waiver, or payment plans

These changes are designed to make sure participants have the right supports.

Important update: Claim submission timeframes are changing! You now have 2 years from the support start date to submit claims for payment.

The 12-month grace period ends at midnight on 2 October 2025.
After this, the NDIS systems will automatically reject claims that are more than 2 years old.

If you have any older claims, 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝟮 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱!

📢 From 1 July 2025, new NDIS price limits come into effect, and therapy providers can now claim half of their hourly rate for travel time (up to the usual time caps based on location). This change is designed to:
✅ Make travel costs fairer and more predictable
✅ Help participants get better value from their funding
✅ Support providers to deliver services efficiently

Other travel rules (like claiming fuel, tolls or parking) remain the same, and providers still can’t add extra “gap fees” or hidden charges.

We know changes can feel overwhelming - but we’re here to keep you informed every step of the way.
