👀 Incorporating the ActivControl Technology proven optics of MiSight 1 day lenses, the new MyDay MiSight 1 day provides the same level of myopia control efficiency.

The new and improved stenfilcon A silicone hydrogel material provides:

👌 Easier handling and lens insertion

As a leading practice in myopia management we were privileged to have early access from February to these new lenses. For the lucky patients who were able to trial the new lenses early, the feedback has been immense, and many comments of EASIER INSERTION & REMOVAL have been made! 😁🙏

We look forward to supplying these soft contacts as an option for myopia management at our clinic. We will begin transitioning more of our patients to this new design through upcoming reviews and over-the-phone order recommendations.

Thanks for the memories Mikayla!

Yesterday, we said a bittersweet farewell to Mikayla, our Optical Assistant of the past 2.5 years.

From day one, Mikayla brought warmth, professionalism and genuine care to every patient interaction. She quickly became a trusted face for families, guiding countless children (and their parents!) through first myopia management contact lens and OrthoK fittings - every nervous, wiggly, or wonderfully challenging learner in between. Her patience, calm confidence and encouragement turned what could have been tricky moments into empowering milestones for young wearers.

Her fondest memory was teaching a 6-year-old Nate to wear OrthoK. “If at first we don’t succeed, we try again. And again. Until we do!” After three teach sessions he got there and could wear his lenses all by himself! And now Nate’s school friend also wears OrthoK for his myopia.

Mikayla, you’ve made a real impact on our clinic, our team, and especially on the many kids who now see the world more clearly because of your guidance. We know your future patients are incredibly lucky to have you.

Now we get to celebrate her next chapter as she graduates and steps proudly into her career as an optometrist. We couldn’t be prouder to have been part of her journey, watching her learn, lead and thrive.

Here’s to your next chapter and the difference you’ll continue to make in eye care! 👁️ 🤓
