I’m Helen Reimers — a somatic body whisperer devoted to embodied evolution, sensual aliveness, creative flow, and collective liberation.

My work is body-based trauma care. I weave deep embodiment practices, energy and shadow work, perspective shifts, and ancient principles from yogic and Chinese medicine lineages.

I guide women to unravel the survival patterns stored in their bodies and remember that the freedom they’ve been seeking has always lived within them.

Because for too many women, especially in more mature generations, their first experience of penetrative s*x was not one of safety or choice, but of coercion or force, and then the likely hood of being slt shamed afterwards was very real.

There were no conversations about consent, sensuality, trauma, after-care, wants, or needs. Not in our homes. Not in our schools. Not with our partners.

So to get by, we learned to numb ourselves, to fear, to pain, to confusion - just to survive.
But numbing one end of the spectrum numbs the other too.
When we cut off pain, we lose access to pleasure.
When we silence fear, we dampen joy.

This work isn’t just about healing trauma.
It’s about reclaiming power and not through force.
It’s owning your story, taking the gifts from it and not letting it run your life from the backlines anymore.

Because when a woman becomes sensually alive
when she lives in connection and community within herself
she remembers she is whole, unbreakable, and deeply free.

Her radiance isn’t just personal.
It’s contagious.
And that kind of embodied freedom doesn’t just change her life.
It heals the world.

It asks us not just to feel… but to become.
To let the body lead. To let the emotions move through by moving you, rather than around.

Because what you avoid will shape you.
And the ease built on avoidance? It becomes dis-ease.

Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and freedom ~ Viktor Frankl

Viktor Frankl (pictured in the image above), endured the horrors of N**i concentration camps, and showed us that even in the face of unimaginable suffering, we can choose meaning, and through meaning, reclaim joy.

His work reminds me daily that transformation doesn’t come from avoiding pain, but from meeting it with presence, purpose, and the fierce dignity of the human spirit.

It inspires my own work as a somatic coach and trauma-aware mentor, I help people reconnect with the space Viktor Frankl speaks of, the space between stimulus and response. For many of us, especially those carrying complex trauma or long-term caregiving roles, that space can feel nonexistent. We react out of survival rather than choice. But through nervous system regulation, embodied awareness, and compassionate inquiry, we begin to widen that space. We reclaim our agency. We stop performing our way through life and start responding from a place of clarity, presence, and purpose. This is where true transformation lives, not in fixing ourselves, but in learning to meet ourselves differently.

Between Words - There’s a unique kind of grief in a goodbye that’s never spoken. Not because of the parting itself, but because of the silence that follows. No answers to be found outside. No closure from external sources. Just questions echoing in the quiet. We replay conversations. We wonder what went wrong.

But some stories end without obvious resolution, and that ache can become an invitation. To let go. To grow. To find peace, not in answers, but in our own resilience. Closure doesn’t come from others. It comes from within, when we stop waiting for an explanation and start trusting ourselves again.

These endings, painful as they are, remind us: We are not defined by what we’ve lost, but by how we rise after losing it.

We don't become fearless, fear is a necessary part of survival.
What we need to become is intimate with our fears.

Learn to feel them, hold them, and listen closely, so we can discern which fears are asking to be acknowledged to release an illusion, and which ones are asking to be acknowledged and acted upon.

In my 1:1 and small group mentorship and sessions, we don't bypass fear. We become curious, we tap into deep body wisdom and meet it with compassion to allow it to become your teacher, so it no longer leads your life from the shadows.

Fear speaks in noise

The Gentle Art of Befriending Your Self-Sabotage

Self-sabotage isn’t your enemy—it’s actually quite innocent, it’s your inner child whispering, "I’m scared. Keep me safe."

When we resist or judge our patterns, we wage war against the very part of us that learned to survive, and we create an internal battle that will reflect in our body and/or lives.

But what if, instead of resisting, judging or shutting it down, we got curious?

Self-sabotage is not a flaw to be ironed out a piece of us to be shamed, it is a protector that has done well for you at some point in your past work, but does not know it's safe to step down, unless you befriend it, accept it and allow it to reintegrate with the rest of you self.

Your amygdala (a key part of your fear circuit there to keep you safe), doesn’t know "good" or "bad"—it only knows familiar vs. unfamiliar. In this way we can see self-sabotage is just internal your protector running a redundant safety script.

When you notice self-sabotage creeping in (or slapping you in the face) meet it like you would a child. Instead of frustration, give it acknowledgment an warmth. "Oh, there you are again. I see you." Meet this part of you with child-like curiosity, explore it, welcome it, talk to it over of ignoring it. Shame will freeze growth; kindness, gratitude and joy rewire it.

What if you approached your patterns with lightness instead of denigration or force?

In every pattern that no longer serves you well is a fragment of you that is begging to be seen, felt and welcomed home.

Your Invitation

The next time you notice self-sabotage, pause. Witness it, say hello to it, wave at it, acknowledge it with kindness. Speak to it like you would a child you were helping (this is what you’re actually doing). Thank it for trying to help, accept it without trying to change it, when we remove the resistance to old patterns you can re-wire your circuits, reprogram your amygdala as you lovingly welcome this part of you home.

Awareness and acceptance are the first steps to finding the freedom and choice you seek - so start here.
