Our minds work on two levels - the conscious mind and the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind controls our habits. In the relaxed state known as

hypnosis, we can communicate directly with the subconscious mind. This is why it is so quick and easy to change the habits of a lifetime with hypnosis. For most people they simply feel deeply relaxed. There is a change in the brain wave activity, similar to that time just before sleep when the alpha state is entered. Our brain's waking state is a beta brain wave, just as you are going to sleep it changes to alpha and then to delta and then theta in deep sleep. The alpha state is a very dreamy, pleasant state. During this time the mind is very receptive to suggestions for change. Most people have a limited understanding of the positive results that can be achieved in a professionally controlled hypnosis session. We are constantly hypnotising ourselves. Sometimes we are our own worst enemy. When we call ourselves names, put ourselves down or reinforce fears and limitations, it can get to be a habit and if you do it long enough, you will develop a belief that will get the results you ask for but not necessarily the results you want. Our Brains are truly amazing. In order for permanent change to happen, you need to rewire your brain, your mindset, regardless of what issue you need help with. We use a technique that enables the person to focus intensely without paying attention to external stimulation such as a car or truck going by, or a door closing in the distance, a buzzing in the room. It is the same kind of focused state that enables you to be completely engrossed in a book or television, where the passing sound of a loud truck or motorcycle doesn't even register in your conscious mind at all. You are somewhat oblivious to other stimuli. You are not anaesthetised nor are you in a zombie like state. Its a lovely deeply relaxing state. The cost for the 90 minute consultation is $360.00 plus GST. Far less than most people spend on cigarettes in a month! We have kept our price constant for many years without increase so that quitting cigarettes is affordable and accessible to everyone regardless of social standing and circumstances. How often do you forget to love yourself enough to avoid situations and actions that can cause you harm? We protect our family and loved ones from harm as best we can. It's automatic, it's love, it's just what we do.

Smoking has historically been marketed as seductive, sophisticated and cool. It couldn't be further from the truth. Seeing the ramifications and heartache caused by smoking and va**ng every day is heartbreaking.

I feel so grateful and privileged to have helped thousands of people from all corners of the world quit smoking these past 20 years.

So excited to have helped a client quit smoking before they have life saving surgery. Reports even before surgery are that a number of health issues have dissipated due to quitting smoking and surgeons now very positive for a long term successful outcome.
