🌿 The Soul Tree Exhibition is back!
We’re so excited to be hosting our first Soul Tree art exhibition of the year, a celebration of beauty, creativity, and the healing power of art.

At Tree of Life, we believe that art is not just decoration, it’s an integral part of living a meaningful and connected life. That’s why we’re proud to showcase works from the talented artists within our own Tree community.

This month, we’re honoured to feature the nostalgic and beautiful work of Joanne Seberry, now gracing the walls of our centre. After your entrainment, take a moment to soften into the beauty of pieces.

Joanne’s incredible artwork is also for sale, ask at reception if you’re interested in taking a piece of the Soul Tree home with you.

You’re invited to slow down.

As we move through the coldest, darkest part of the year, this is a chance to slow down and gently resource yourself from the sun within.

🌀 Restore · Reflect · Reimagine 🌀

We’ll begin with some journaling to reflect on the year so far and a visualisation to help us tune into what we want to carry forward.
What intention is ready to guide you through the rest of the year?

We’ll then move into a gentle Integral Energetics session, focused on breath, presence, and connection in the body.
This session will support your nervous system to shift into deep rest through light, gentle contacts, leaving you feeling relaxed and restored.

From there, we’ll deepen into stillness with a peaceful, guided meditation.
To finish, we’ll gather under the magical Tree of Life in the garden, sharing ceremonial cacao around the fire.

spaces are limited, as we’re keeping it an intentionally small and intimate gathering

Dr Fred is working his normal hours this week including Good Friday.
Dr John is away this week and will be returning to work on Easter Monday.

People less connected to their bodies may find it harder to regulate their emotions - we know this from research.

What’s even more interesting is they tend to rely on the same emotion regulation strategy (e.g., distraction, suppression) no matter what the situation is.

However, people with stronger interoceptive awareness (the ability to sense internal bodily signals) adapt their strategies based on the emotional intensity of the moment.

This highlights some important points:

1. The more connected you are to your body, the more flexible you become in how you respond to emotional challenges.

2. It’s actually less about “good” versus “bad” emotion regulation strategies (which was once thought to be the case), and more about choosing the best strategy in the moment.

3. Clear, accurate feedback from your body and emotions enhances your capacity to self-regulate.

Good news is we can retrain these interoceptive pathways, and that’s what Integral Energetics can help with.
