We are currently seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Direct Chemist Outlet Kilcoy on a Full-Time basis. The role may include working on weekends.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks
- No previous pharmacy experience is required as extensive training will be provided.
- Take on tasks delegated by the Retail Manager
- Assist customers with general enquiries
- Maintain stock ordering, rotation and storage requirements
- Maintain a high-level presentation of the store and service areas
Skills and Experience
-Outstanding customer service and communication skills
-Strong literacy and numeracy skills to balance invoices
-Dedicated work ethic and a strong team player
-Strong business acumen and eye for detail

Are you a highly motivated, customer-focused and enthusiastic Retail Manager looking for a fresh new role? Direct Chemist Outlet Kilcoy is looking for a Retail Manager to join the team.

Direct Chemist Outlet is an expanding pharmacy brand, with over 85 locations across Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia, and Victoria.

You would be joining a great team in a close-knit community pharmacy, whose focus is to provide customers with excellent health care and service.

Reporting to the Pharmacist Manager, you would be responsible for leading a great team and ensuring the store operates to its full potential.

The successful candidate will have:

- Previous experience as a retail manager is preferred but training will be provided if no previous experience.
- Strong merchandising skills
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills

- Adhere to Direct Chemist Outlet policies and procedures
- Maintain a high-level presentation of the store and service areas
- Manage and improve team performance continually
- Assist customers with enquiries
Maintain stock control and ordering
Coordinate catalogue and in-store promotions

The main duties include:

- Efficient and accurate dispensing of medicines
- Pack Dose Administration Aids
- Stock replenishment and coordinating stock control in the dispensary
- Building rapport with customers and promote professional services
- Attending required meetings

Requirements:

- Customer service experience
- Previous dispensary experience is preferred but not essential
- Right to live and work in Australia
- Previous pharmacy experience and/or Certificate III in Community Pharmacy is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of FRED dispense system is preferred but not essential
- Training is provided under the supervision of the pharmacy manager
