MEET OUR SOUTHERN SUPERSTARS!

We’re excited to share some fantastic news – we currently have capacity available, predominantly across the SOUTH region! (Victor harbour)

This means we are now welcoming new referrals for participants who are looking for reliable, engaging, and high-quality supports delivered by a team that truly values person-centred care and meaningful outcomes.

Even better, we’d love to introduce two of our absolute South superstars – Veronica and Matty!

Veronica brings an incredible blend of warmth, professionalism, and consistency to her work. She is known for building genuine connections with participants and supporting them to feel confident, comfortable, and empowered in their goals. Veronica has a calm and encouraging approach, and she takes real pride in tailoring her support to suit everyone’s needs, preferences, and routines.

Matty, on the other hand, brings energy, positivity, and a great sense of humour to every interaction. He has a strong focus on engagement and independence, and he’s especially skilled at supporting participants to get involved in their community, build confidence, and work towards their goals in a fun and motivating way. Matty is the kind of support worker who can turn an ordinary day into a genuinely positive experience.

Together, Veronica and Matty represent the heart of what we aim to provide – dependable, person-centred support delivered with care, consistency, and personality.
We’re proud to have them as part of our South team and are excited for them to connect with new participants who may benefit from their support.

🎨 Art Class, Chats, Cuppas & Cats 🐾

What do you get when you mix creativity, community, caffeine… and a cat?

A pretty great Wednesday, if you ask us.
Our fortnightly sessions (12:30–3:30pm) are designed to be a relaxed, inclusive space where people can come together, try something new, build confidence, and enjoy genuine connection.

There’s no pressure to be perfect—just encouragement to have a go, share a laugh, and enjoy the moment.

From painting and drawing to simply sitting back with a cuppa and a chat, everyone participates in their own way—and that’s exactly how we like it.

And of course, there’s Oscar—our unofficial supervisor, morale booster, and Chief Distraction Officer 🐱 He’s always nearby to offer support (or demand attention) and somehow manages to be everyone’s favourite part of the day.

Being a carer is incredibly rewarding - but it can also be exhausting. Many carers experience burnout without even realising it.

Signs of carer burnout can include:

• Feeling drained or tired all the time
• Irritability and increased frustration
• Loss of interest in activities
• Ignoring personal health and wellbeing
• Trouble concentrating
• Detachment and isolation
• Feeling guilty
• Physical symptoms like headaches or trouble sleeping

🧡 Harmony Week 2026 🧡

At CareCo Services, diversity is just part of who we are—it’s been built in from the very beginning.

Our founder made the move from Ireland to Australia (and still helps others do the same!), so supporting people from all walks of life has always been at the heart of what we do.

Our team is a mix of different backgrounds, experiences, and ways of thinking—including a few neuro-spicy brains—which is exactly what helps us come up with creative, real-world solutions for the people we support.

At CareCo, we’ve got a few neuro-spicy brains on the team—and honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s what helps us think differently and come up with out-of-the-box solutions.

While neurodivergent brains can be overwhelming at times, they’re also a bit like superpowers—bringing creativity, problem-solving, and fresh ways of seeing the world.
