There is only one correct way for YOU to get up off the ground...
The one where you do not add any more tension to your body.
INFACT the correct way for you is to get up feeling more expanded and spacious than before.
Moving like this means you don't need to stop to make yourself feel better.
You are soft and tension free
Your weight is propelling you off the ground, your soft tissues the downward pressure on your bones (think jacking up a car)
You can fall safely, which is what is needed to propell yourself effortlessly.
Your bones have you, your true core strength is your bones... not your core muscles.
There is no tension holding bones, so there is nothing to snap and nothing will be pulled out.
Your nervous system has all it's tools back in it's tool kit, all oiled up and rust free... think the lates buzz words... fascial hydration...
This stage of Maia Movement is being at REST in MOTION... this is when you are moving in a way that is unravelling existing tensions as you go... so you no longer need to spend so much time on the REST stage... and less time on the MOVEMENT AT REST stage...
When I first did this honestly, I couldn't get off the ground, because the decades of holding my shoulders up, plus the genetics I was born with that had me formed from the state of shoulders being held up, meant that I could not release my weight into my elbow and hand...
This is nervous system safety, being honest that you cannot do something without the exhausting force that you used to use to get through the day.
The guided sleep library is the place to start, turn a large part of each day into unravelling, tension relieving rest/sleep.
