K-Life and the Killarney Lions Club are teaming up again to deliver a huge Australia Day celebration in 2026 — and it’s already shaping up to be a big one.

We’re locking in a day of family-friendly activities for Monday, 26 January 2026, right here in Killarney. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s already confirmed:

⛳ JUMP N SLIDE Warwick with mini golf, a jumping castle and soccer pool

More details will roll out as we get closer — including our full event program, extra entertainment, and confirmation vendors.

That’s why our Dementia Support Group exists: a calm, welcoming space where carers, loved ones, and anyone walking alongside someone with dementia can connect, learn, and breathe a little easier.

If you’re looking for understanding, practical guidance, or simply a place where people get it, you’re invited. Our sessions offer gentle conversation, shared experience, and support grounded in dignity and compassion — values that have shaped K-Life for 75 years.

💛 Community Supporting Community

We’re excited to share that the K-Life Auxiliary has donated $3,000 to our Drive to Care campaign. Their support helps bring us closer to purchasing and fitting out a dedicated Community Health Outreach Vehicle — a key step in making healthcare more accessible for people across our region.

This vehicle will help our nurses, allied health team and medical staff reach those who can’t always reach us, delivering care directly to people in the place they feel safest: their homes.

The Auxiliary has always stood behind K-Life, and this donation is another reminder of how powerful community generosity can be.

The Killarney Community Men’s Shed has wrapped up another project for our community, and it’s exactly the kind of work that shows why this group matters. Since launching in July 2022, the Shed has become a space where blokes can show up, get their hands busy, look out for each other, and make a real difference. It’s basically a support crew disguised as a workshop.

The whole vibe is simple: share skills, back local initiatives, and build a stronger, more connected Killarney. Every project strengthens community bonds and gives the guys a sense of belonging that goes way deeper than the tools on the bench.

If you’ve been thinking about joining or just want to see what they’re about, you’re welcome to drop in.

Where: K-Life Grounds, off Acacia Street, next to the Anglican Church
When: Mondays & Fridays | 9am – 12pm

Around 1 in 6 people worldwide live with a disability. That’s over 1.3 billion people — a massive part of our global community. Yet too many still face barriers in health, employment, education and basic access.

At K-Life, we’re committed to creating spaces where people of all abilities feel respected, supported and genuinely included. Real inclusion means listening, removing barriers and treating people with dignity, not assumptions.

Let’s keep pushing for a world that works for everyone.
